Stars Pre-Party in L.A. Ahead of Grammys

Los Angeles got the party started on Friday with a host of pre-Grammy
bashes attracting some of the biggest names in music and Hollywood.
At the MusiCares Person of the Year gala benefit honoring Neil Young, 20 artists including
Dave Matthews, Wilco, Elvis Costello and John Mellencamp performed more than a dozen of
the folk-rock legend's classic songs. After singing "Rockin' In the Free World" with John Fogarty and Booker T., Keith Urban ran
up to grab his wife, Nicole Kidman, who was happily singing along to the tribute. Emcee Jack Black amused the crowd with an impromptu auction of the Ben Sherman
sneakers he was wearing.
